Wings Privacy Notice
Last updated 6 October 2026
Wings is the help desk bot of the Wings of Valhalla Discord server. I run it myself, as Winged V Studios, on my own PC. It works in that one server only, and it leaves any other server it is added to. This page says what it keeps and why.
When you open a ticket
- Your answers on the ticket form go into your own private ticket channel.
- On a bug report or a "How do I" question, the fields the form marks as public also go on a public post in the support forum, without your name: the title or question, the area, what happened or more detail, the steps, and your screenshot or clip. On a bug report, where you play and your server's max level go on it too, once you add your setup. Each form says which fields are public before you send it.
- Your server's name or IP and your mod list stay in your ticket and are never posted.
- Wings keeps a small record of each ticket on my PC: its number and kind, your Discord user ID, the ticket channel's ID, whether it is open or closed, the area you picked, when it opened and closed, who claimed it, and the public post's ID. It holds none of the text you wrote.
- Before a ticket is deleted, Wings saves a transcript of it on my PC: every message in the ticket and the files in it.
When you ask Wings a question
- When you ask in general chat or with /ask, a language model running on my own PC reads your question and picks the lines that answer it from the community guide, my own notes and the mod's data. Your question is not sent to any outside AI service.
- Wings reads the messages in general chat to spot questions. It does not save them.
- Some questions go, with Wings' answer, to a private staff channel on the Discord server so a person can follow up: questions Wings could not answer, questions the community guide does not cover, and any answer you mark with 👎.
Logs
Wings' log on my PC holds Discord user IDs, ticket numbers, counts and times. It never holds the text of your messages, questions or tickets. Older lines drop off as the log fills.
Who can see what
- Your ticket channel: you, me, Wings, and the server's admin team.
- Ticket records, transcripts and logs: only me.
- Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone else.
- Discord itself keeps the messages sent on Discord, under Discord's Privacy Policy.
How long it is kept
Ticket records and transcripts stay on my PC until I delete them. A public post stays in the support forum as the record of a bug or an answer, so the next player can find it.
Your choices
Open a ticket and pick "Something else" to ask what Wings keeps about you, or to have your ticket records and transcripts deleted. I can also take a public post down on request.
